One of the most striking buildings in the fortified city of Elburg is the 15th century Agnietenconvent where the Museum is located. It has an extensive collection of objects about the history of Elburg and its surroundings.

One of the world's largest indoor sand sculpture exhibitions: Bible stories in sand. With a surface of 5000 m², some 4000 m³ of sand, dozens of lock gates, 1000 year old olive trees, botters and sculptures, the stories about our culture of bibles and botters are created.

Harderwijk is bustling! This beautiful contemporary city has more than 100 monuments, picturesque streets and attractive squares. Harderwijk - once located on the Zuiderzee - has been referred to as a Hanseatic city since 1252. There are even parts of the old wall, complete with impressive towers.
